Evangeline casually strolled down to the courtroom, completely unconcerned about everything. Young, beautiful, yet somehow a striking terror. Few doubted her, most respected her. Regardless, she took her place at the front of the courtroom and sat sideways on her chair with her legs dangling over one of the arms. Someone handed her a few papers. Evangeline glanced at them and casually tossed the papers aside. She stared for a long time at the defendant, almost a mirror image of herself, yet nearly helpless and with something -something horribly irritating- in her green eyes. "Treason. You understand the consequences." It was not a question; it was merely a statement of fact.
